We at Blackstone & Co. love Northwest Arkansas (NWA). In fact, it’s crazy, but we realized that combined, our team has over 100 years of experience living here!
If you’re like us, you’re always on the look for the next hidden treasure in NWA. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite things to do and see in the area. Check it out below and let us know what we missed!
Free activities
- The new Co-op location – it’s a great indoor/outdoor space with swings, coffee and beer!
- The Gulley Park gazebo – enjoy having a picnic and playing games on the grass. Great for kids!
- The Momentary in Bentonville – good place for walking around the indoor and outdoor visual art exhibits.
- The Buckyball at Crystal Bridges – a great art installation with giant wooden reclining benches to relax. For best effect, go at dark!
Outdoor spots
- Hiking the trails at Mount Kessler – careful though, there’s some intense mountain bikers on the trail!
- Going to a swimming hole in Bella Vista located off NW Wishing Springs Rd and McNelly Rd in McKissic Creek. There’s also great biking trails around the Back 40!
- Looking at the amazing views at Hawksbill Crag – and it’s an easy hike for kids and adults.
Takeout food
- Pizza from Odd Soul in Springdale – you can’t go wrong with any choice!
- Local Lime in Rogers – don’t forget to take advantage of the incredible salsa selection.
- Anything from KJ Sushi and Korean BBQ…seriously, just try it.
